As individuals and as teachers, we are always learning and evolving and finding new ways to reach our students, but the pandemic five years ago turned our world and our schools upside down in ways we never anticipated. I would like to share with you five specific ways that I teach now that were born out of that period of change.
Nancy Christman Muñoz – Bio
Nancy Christman Muñoz is currently a Spanish teacher at Thomas Worthington High School in Worthington, Ohio, USA. She holds a B.A. in History and Spanish from the College of Wooster, an M.A. in Spanish American and Spanish History from the University of Texas at Austin, and has completed more than 80 semester hours of advanced graduate coursework in Foreign Language Education and Spanish Linguistics. She was an Assistant Professor of Spanish in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Findlay (Ohio) from 1993-2019 where she also taught Foreign Language Methods in the College of Education.
Nancy is in Curitiba to learn Portuguese with the IPAST (Intensive Portuguese Abroad for Spanish Teachers) at CELIN – UFPR and she is part of the language teacher education course offered by the university project Teachers across Borders UFPR.
